The design family had four different models, three reverse reduction gears and one reduction gear without reversing function.

The arrangement of input and output shafts relative to each other was either coaxial or offset, the latter either vertically or diagonally. The modular design afforded a variety of advantages including low cost manufacure and spare stocking.
